Former Raider Art Shell to hear Suh appeal
Ndamukong Suh of the Detroit Lions will appeal his two game suspension. Suh was suspended by the NFL for stomping on a Green Bay Packer during a game last week. Former Oakland Raider player and coach Art Shell will hear and decide the appeal. Shell does not have a law degree, but is a Hall of Fame lineman.

Court of Arbitration for Sport to hear case on lifetime ban in tennis
Daniel Koellerer, an Austrian tennis player has gone before the Court of Arbitration for Sport to appeal his lifetime ban from the sport for fixing tennis matches. Koellerer received the lifetime ban back in May when Tennis Integrity found Koellerer guilty of three violations of fixing matches. Tennis Integrity is an anti-corruption body set up by the ATP, WTA, the International Tennis Federation and the Grand Slam Committee.

Minnesota judge grants NBA players a stay
Judge Patrick Schiltz has granted the NBA players a stay on their antitrust lawsuit in order that the players and owners can put together a formal collective bargaining agreement. The case will be put on hold until December 9, at which time the CBA should be approved by both sides.
