Mediator to get involved in Fox Sports-Dodgers dispute

Judge Kevin Gross will let a mediator try to resolve the dispute between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Fox Sports over the sale of media rights for future seasons. Judge Gross appointed retired U.S. District Judge Joseph Farnan Jr. to mediate the dispute between Fox and the Dodgers. The mediation will take place in Los Angeles starting on November 28.

NBA players withdraw California lawsuit, amend complaint in Minnesota

Last Tuesday NBA players filed two separate class-action antitrust lawsuits in Minnesota and California. Yesterday the players withdrew the complaint that was filed in California. As we all know "the wheels of justice turn slowly" and they probably turn slower in California. With that in mind the players filed an amended complaint in Minnesota, adding the plaintiffs from the now withdrawn California case.
