Chuck Neinas took over as interim Big 12 Commissioner a few weeks back in relief of former Commissioner Dan Beebe. Neinas hoped to quickly bring stability to the league that was falling apart at the seems. Now with the addition of TCU to the conference, the Big 12 appears set for 2012 with ten teams. Neinas must still await a decision from Missouri, but the conference should be able to sell Missouri on the benefits of remaining in the Big 12.

MLB will let Dodgers' lawyers stay on the case
Major League Baseball has withdrawn its motion to disqualify lawyers for the Los Angles Dodgers.in the ongoing bankruptcy petition. MLB had claimed that Dodger lawyers were putting the interest of team owner Frank McCourt ahead of the team. MLB withdrew its motion to disqualify the lawyers based on the request of newly appointed mediator Joseph Farnan
