Calipari and Rose pay money to avoid lawsuit

Certain University of Memphis basketball season ticket holders were able to coerce former head coach John Calipari and former basketball Memphis player Derrick Rose to agree to pay $100,000.00 to avoid  being sued. The settlement comes from the now disastrous 2007-08 Memphis basketball team which made it to the NCAA championship game, but was later forced to forfeit all victories from that season.

In fact, the NBA rejected a meeting with the players to discuss other issues, because of the players refusal to consider the 50% split.
