ACC adds Pitt and Syracuse; NFLPA timeline

Now that the ACC has a solid base in the northeast the conference may look to play its iconic ACC basketball tournament in Madison Square Garden. Of course the Big East has played its tournament in the Garden every year since 1983. How will Madison Square Garden handle possibly having both tournaments in the same year? There will be many more questions to be answered about this move and all the other conference realignment that will take place over the coming months. Legal issues will most definitely come from this move and most others, so gear up for what promises to be just the beginning of a crazy next few months.

Proactive ACC adds Pitt and Syracuse
Now that the ACC has added Pitt and Syracuse to the conference, what will the legal ramifications of this move be? Pitt and Syracuse both must wait at least two years and pay a $5 million exit fee before bolting to the ACC. However, will they look to negotiate an earlier release to join the ACC? Will one of the Big East schools still left in the conference seek any legal remedy?
