Hurricane investigation
Reminiscent of the 2010 college football season when the University of North Carolina began its season with several players being suspended, the Miami Hurricanes may be in a similar predicament. Miami President Donna Shalala indicated the school was investigating at least a dozen football players and their involvement with "friend of the program" Nevin Shapiro.
NBA players under contract won't be able to play in China
The CBA (Chinese Basketball Association) will not allow NBA players who are under contract to play in China if the NBA season is canceled. The good news for NBA players not under contract is that they will be allowed to play in the CBA, but they must stay for the entire season.. To summarize, no CBA in the NBA means, means players without a contract can play in the CBA.
