The Conundrum of College Sports

Almost on a daily basis we hear more and more about schools being placed on probation by the NCAA. We hear other tales of athletes being arrested for one thing or another or for taking money from agents when they still have eligibility remaining. The negative stories keep coming from schools such as USC, UNC, Ohio State, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Tennessee and many others. It's easy to talk about the hypocrisy of college athletics.

And then, Michigan State quarterback Kirk Cousins comes up with a tremendous speech at Big Ten media day and you are ready to buy into the wonder of college sports all over again.
Listen to Kirk Cousins here.

FIBA to welcome NBA players

FIBA the world governing body of basketball will allow locked out NBA players to play overseas, as long as they leave once the lockout ends.
