July 7, 2011
Opening day for Clemens
During Roger Clemens illustrious big league career he was an opening day starter 13 times. Yesterday, Roger Clemens had one more opening day, however no one threw out the first pitch and there was no national anthem. Opening day was highlighted by jury selection, with a mixture of potential jurors who were non-baseball fans, as well as those who were avid baseball fans. Several former big league players with strong ties to the steroid era of baseball were listed as possible witnesses.

Time to get down to business
The majority of college and law students usually put off most assignments until they are up against a deadline. It is when a deadline nears that the all-nighters occur and the real work gets done. The NFL and NFLPA are no different, and it now seems that the real work is getting done. Though there is no set deadline to reach a deal - with the opening of training camps just a few weeks away, there is now a sense of urgency to reach a deal.
