The Ohio State University has decided to drop the review of car purchases by Buckeye football players. This decision comes after two separate investigations found that the car dealers involved in the transactions made their normal profit on almost every deal.

UNC receives Notice of Allegations from NCAA

The University of North Carolina received the letter it was waiting for from the NCAA on Tuesday. The Notice of Allegations from the NCAA revealed nine violations that involved improper benefits, academic misconduct and former assistant coach John Blake acting on the behalf of the late agent Gary Wichard. UNC will now have ninety days to respond to the allegations.

Details of Stewart's settlement with West Virginia revealed

Former West Virginia head football coach Bill Stewart will receive $1.65 million from West Virginia University after the two parties reached a settlement of his now terminated contract. The university released the "Confidential Settlement Agreement and Release of All Claims" agreement to the public on Monday.

Rams' David Vobora celebrates court victory
 
Linebacker David Vobora of the St.Louis Rams was awarded $5.4 million in a lawsuit against the Anti-Steroid Program LLC  of Key Largo, Florida. Vobora had used one of the products made by the company and was  suspended by the NFL when it was discovered the product contained a substance banned by the NFL.
