Barry Bonds' attorneys' have asked that Judge Susan Illston either  change the obstruction of justice charge against Bonds to an acquittal or schedule a new trial. Attorneys for Bonds argue that he was unfairly convicted of "unauthorized rambling" when he was asked about his trainer injecting him with a syringe. A hearing on this motion is set for July 1.
