NFL and NFLPA back in front of Judge David Doty for TV damages hearing

Selig and McCourt get together

Frank McCourt, owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, was able to meet with Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig. What McCourt was unable to do was to convince Selig to approve a $3 billion dollar deal with Fox, which would have given McCourt the needed funds to meet the Dodgers next payroll.

Baseball's law firm, Proskauer Rose, is examining the Dodgers' finances to see if McCourt received loans from the team to fund McCourt and his ex- wife's extravagant lifestyle. See the website of Proskauer Rose by clicking on this link.

Kent State sues their ex-coach Geno Ford for breach of contract

The school seeks $1.2 million in damages from Ford, whose contract was to expire in 2015.  Their allegation is that Ford had no permission to terminate his contract.  Kent State is also suing Bradley University, where Ford now coaches, for over $25,000.00 in compensatory damages for having interfered with the contract they had with the coach.
