NFL wins stay in Court of Appeals
On Friday it was back to business as usual in the NFL. Now, just 48 hours later, the NFL requested and received a temporary stay of Judge Susan Nelson's order of last week lifting the lockout. The Eighth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals sided with the NFL and allowed the temporary stay while the Court decides if there should be a permanent stay of Judge Nelson's order. The Court of Appeals could make a decision on the lockout as early as today.
The NFL wasted no time in reinstating the lockout.

was just about six months ago when both DeMaurice Smith of the NFLPA and
Commssioner Roger Goodell expressed optimism for a quick settlement. Were these two so wet behind the ears that they did not realize what this struggle would entail?
