NFL will appeal to 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals
For the time being the NFL has no choice but to adhere to Judge Susan Nelson's order to lift the lockout. So, for now, NFL business should be closer to being normal; at least until the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals steps in to decide the NFL's motion to restore the lockout. Later today the NFL is expected to release guidelines for free agency, trades and roster moves.

It's pretty neat when we can have former Texas Tech football coach Mike Leach and Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen in the same piece. They were both
in the news yesterday for their use of Twitter. Leach is finally
starrting to use Twitter, having apparently himself become a "narcissist". His tweets might help us catch up on his lawsuits. Meanwhile, Guillen will probably be fined or
suspended for his use of Twitter after being ejected from a game against
the Yankees on Wednesday.
