Sacramento's last chance; McCourt, MLB and Fox; NFL uncertainty

Kings not finished in Sacramento just yet
The City of Sacramento, led by Sacramento mayor and former NBA star Kevin Johnson, made a last ditch effort to let NBA officials know why the Kings should stay in Sacramento. The Kings have been rumored to be heading to Anaheim for next season. The Kings are owned by Joe and Gavin Maloof, who must file a relocation request with the NBA by Monday. As of now, the Maloofs remain undecided on relocating the team. The biggest factor against remaining in Sacramento is the lack of funding for a new arena.

McCourt to meet with MLB executives
Dodgers owner Frank McCourt will meet with Major League Baseball officials today to discuss the Dodgers' recently completed deal with Fox for television and media rights. The Fox deal should provide much needed financial stability for the Los Angeles franchise. MLB officials are concerned with McCourt using the money from Fox on his personal debt.
Last, but not least, the action in Minnesota

Tuesday was a day of uncertainty in the NFL. Judge Susan Nelson's order to lift the lockout on Monday was subject to much interpretation throughout the NFL.
Today the NFLPA is expected to file its response to the NFL's motion to stay Judge Nelson's order of Monday. Big questions must be considered. When does the league year begin? How can it begin with no rules in place? League rules from 2009 were different from league rules of 2010, i.e., a player needed 4 years in the league in 2009 to be an unrestricted free agent, but six years in the uncapped 2010 season.
