Congrats to UCONN, but...

 

Jim Calhoun and UCONN were victorious on Monday night, but there is a three game suspension to serve for the coach for next season. Calhoun's situation is similar to Jim Tressel of The Ohio State University, who will miss five football games this coming season. The question that needs to be asked is this; Do top coaches need to live on the edge of an atmosphere of non- compliance?

Kick-off in Minnesota

Are you ready for some football? Strike that from the record, are you ready for some court proceedings? Today is the first day in Minnesota in Federal Court, as the players ask for an immediate end to the lockout. It is a shame that the blackout will not be lifted and  then we could get some TV coverage in the court room.
