Court of Arbitration for Sport sets a fast track for appeal of Alberto Contador's doping acquital
The CAS has said that it is, "ready to establish a procedural calendar allowing for the settlement of the dispute before the end of June." With the Tour de France starting July 2, Contador would get to ride in defense of his title if the appeal is dismissed.

Block to appeal 10 year ban to Court of Arbitration for Sport
Last week track coach and agent Mark Block received a ten year suspension from the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) for ties to BALCO and for providing PEDs to his wife, sprinter Zhanna Block. Block will now appeal the ruling to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. For more on USADA's ruling check out this link.


Learfield Sports enters into another Multimedia Rights Partnership deal


Last week it was announced that Learfield Sports had entered into a ten year contract with Northwestern University's athletic department as its exclusive multimedia rights holder. This agreement allows Learfield to handle the rights to the following: signage, sponsorship, corporate hospitality, event marketing, radio and television coaches' shows and official athletic website advertising. Learfield Sports already manages over 50 universities and conferences sponsorship and multimedia rights.
