1987 retro look in NFL?; Lions tampering case; Bonds case

NFL has not talked about going back to 1987
 
Throw back jerseys and retro look uniforms have been popular in the NFL, but don't count on a 1987 throwback in 2011. So far, the issue of replacement players has not been brought up by NFL officials. 1987 saw replacement players taking the field for three straight weeks during the season, while the regular players were on strike.

Lions tampering case
 
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has confirmed that an appeal has been  filed in the Detroit Lions tampering case. However, Goodell would not say if the Lions or the Kansas City Chiefs, the other team involved in the matter, filed the appeal.

Flaxseed oil and arthritic cream

The Barry Bonds trial is underway. In short, Bonds is saying he never knowingly took steroids, but that he was told by his trainer Greg Anderson he was given flaxseed oil and arthritic cream. This is what Bonds told a grand jury years ago and why he is now on trial for perjury. Assistant U.S. Attorney Matthew Parrella, in his opening statement, called Bonds' grand jury testimony an, "utterly ridiculous and unbelievable story".
