Mets admit expensive mistake
 
Sometimes in life you have to admit your mistakes and cut your loses. The New York Mets just admitted their mistake, but they will be unable to cut their losses.  Those losses?- twelve million dollars on the final year of Perez' contract.


NFL and NFLPA don't see eye to eye looking at revenues


“The NFL wants to artificially inflate the percentage of incremental revenue going to players by excluding revenues that never go to players,” NFLPA spokesman George Atallah said.  This is, to say the least, a huge point of contention between the parties.


Bruce Pearl has been fired by Tennessee


Pearl was already disciplined, and had his contract terminated earlier with a hefty salary cut.  Now, the Vols have fired him.  No double jeapordy outside of criminal offenses, though.


Jury selection in Bonds' perjury trial
