Redskins Allen- Lockout "necessary"
 
The Washington Redskins Bruce Allen, a former player agent turned NFL executive is calling the ongoing lockout necessary because of the litigation initiated by the NFLPA. Additionally, like most others from the management side Allen believes the fastest way to a settlement is through mediation as opposed to litigation. Allen is the son of the late George Allen, a Hall of Fame NFL coach.
 
St. Louis Blues for Sale
 
Dave Checketts, Charman of the St. Louis Blues of the NHL has confirmed that the team is for sale. Game Plan LLC out of Boston been hired to conduct  the search to find a new owner. Hopefully it will be easier than the never ending story of the Phoenix Coyotes sale.

Adidas inks endorsement deal with 5 NFL prospects


 
ProFootballTalk mentions that shoe and apparel company Adidas has signed five draft eligible players to endorsement deals.
