NFLPA meets with agents in Indy

This past Friday in Indianapolis the NFLPA had its annual meeting with all certified contract advisors, better known as agents. The major difference this year was that all agents were required to attend the Indianapolis meeting, whereas in other years, there were a handful of other meetings across the country that contract advisors could attend, including the annual Sports Lawyers Conference seminar.

The highlight this year was of course DeMaurice Smith, head of the NFLPA, who addressed the agents for close to two hours. Additionally, four high profile agents took turns offering the NFLPA view on the issues that are playing out now. Drew Rosenhaus delivered a compelling argument for why the NFL would make a mistake by going ahead with a lockout. For more information please click on this link.
