Cromartie takes on NFLPA and NFL




New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie can expect a call from NFLPA leadership about staying in line with the union.  We don't remember the MLBPA having many problems like this.


Attendance figures reached so Hornets must stay in New Orleans

Last year at this time the citizens of New Orleans had the Saints to celebrate. This year they have the Hornets reaching certain attendance figures that guarantee the team can't terminate its lease and leave town. Keep in mind that the Hornets were recently purchased by the NBA and the league is hopeful that new ownership will keep the team in the Crescent City.

Former USC football player sues USC over bench press accident
 
Stafon Johnson, a former USC football player who was seriously injured in a bench press accident while he was working out at USC, has decided to sue the school and an assistant strength coach.


Vols find no NCAA violation in scoping out bar for video location



University of Tennessee compliance officials are claiming there were no violations of the extra benefits rule when basketball player Renaldo Woolridge used a  portion of a bar to scout for a location to shoot a video.
