Mike Leach sues ESPN

Former Texas Tech football coach Mike Leach has sued ESPN and a public relations firm citing "willful and negligent defamation". The suit goes back to last year when Leach was fired from his job at Texas Tech. Leach  claims ESPN  was provided with "misinformation" from ESPN analyst Craig James, the father of Adam James,  a football player at Texas Tech. It was Leach and both Adam James and Craig James that became embroiled in the controversy that led to Leach losing his job, and then filing suit against Texas Tech, which is still pending.

Is there progress between the NFL and NFLPA?

Unnamed sources claim the NFL and NFLPA  made progress in talks about extending  the regular NFL season to 18 games. Does this mean progress is also being made in reaching a new CBA? Stay tuned.
