NHLPA may soon benefit from Fehr's leadership; USTA sues Olympus; "Secret Contract" to be tested at trial
November 23, 2010
It's been awhile since we have heard anything about Don Fehr and the NHLPA. Last week it was reported that the NHLPA is close to putting Fehr in charge as the executive director. The NHLPA is just waiting on ballots to arrive from the last two teams to ratify their new leader . Of course, the NHLPA needs Fehr on board to give the union a boost as it starts negotiating with NHL on a new CBA. The current CBA will expire in 2012. It is reported that Fehr will have a salary of around $3 million.
