World Cup voting investigation by FIFA's ethics court
Lawyer/former player Claudio Sulser heads an independent panel authorized by the executive committee. Under FIFA statutes, ethics decisions can be challenged in the FIFA appeal committee, finally with recourse to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Latest on Bruce Pearl, Volunteer Basketball
For now, the University of Tennessee is sticking with basketball coach Bruce Pearl, while at the same time cutting his salary and terminating his contract. Quite an interesting balancing act.
The University of Tennessee expects to receive it's letter of allegation from the NCAA sometime in December. As you may recall, Pearl didn't quite tell the truth to NCAA investigators visiting Knoxville some months ago. This link gives a nice synopsis of where things currently stand.
