Livestrong could be affected by Armstrong investigation; CFL players can pursue NFL option

Mere suspicion may hurt donations




Lance Armstrong remains under very close scrutiny by USADA and, while he has been found nothing other than innocent of any doping violation, how is his foundation being affected? Livestrong, the tenth largest cancer charity in the United States, is doing well, but if Lance's name suffers, it would too. 


Update on CFL CBA as it pertains to CFL player contract option year for the NFL


CFL players with existing contracts entering their option year in 2011 and 2012 are able to pursue the NFL option .  Beyond 2012 they are not. See SLT blog of 6/21/10 for more depth on the option year.
