Mikhail Prokhorov gains NBA's approval to buy Nets
Mr. Prokhorov promised good things coming from the sale, "Today's vote will give the NBA a greater global reach and bring a multitude of new fans to the game of basketball.  For those who are already fans of the Nets and the NBA, I intend to give you plenty to cheer about."  He's the second richest person in Russia according to Forbes, so we might want to trust his marketing predictions.

MLB Commissioner had no direct comment on any change in the location of the 2011 All-Star game

Asked by reporters if the All-Star game would be moved from Arizona because of the controversial new immigration law, Selig chose to boast of Baseball's record on minority hiring.  The Players Association strongly opposes Arizona's new law, and Ozzie Guillen said he wouldn’t participate in next year’s All-Star game if it remains in Arizona.

Cushing denies all

Despite testing positive for a PED, Brian Cushing emphatically stated that he has never used banned substances.
