The San Francisco Giants have locked up three pitchers until at least 2012. Starter Matt Cain was signed for three years, as were closer Brian Wilson and reliever Jeremy Affeldt. The Giants now have cost certainty with these three players and bring greater continuity to
the organization, not to mention one less year to worry about Cain going to arbitration.
