Should WADA be telling Major League Baseball what to do?
Says WADA president, John Fahey, “We continue to read statements from the MLB commissioner and MLBPA representatives questioning the appropriateness of implementing blood testing in their league. This is nonsense. The blunt reality is that a number of doping substances and methods, including HGH, are currently detectable only through blood testing.”

Unannounced urine and blood testing before and after the event will screen for all drugs banned by WADA. This goes well beyond the requirements of the Nevada Athletic Commission, and the fighters hope that they are setting a new standard for the sport.

The legal issue: Since venerable Wrigley has landmark status, the Department of Zoning has to determine whether or not the proposed sign "affects the nature" of the ballpark.
