Baseball's arbitration season is near and that means teams and players will start coming to agreements before reaching arbitration. The Detroit Tigers and Joel Zumaya did just that.

On November 10 the following appeared on the SLT blog: Dez Bryant of Oklahoma State recently lost his appeal to the NCAA to regain his eligibility. Now he has declared himself for the 2010 NFL draft. Any chance Eugene Parker will end up as his agent?
