SLT presents Fines and Punishment - the year in review
Players, coaches, and management tend to sometimes do or say things that cause trouble and result in large fines or suspensions. Here is a short list of some of the transgressions from this past year and the punishments.
In the NFL:
Titans owner, 86 year old Bud Adams, was fined $250,000. for flipping the bird.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was fined for speaking out about the upcoming CBA negotiations. Jones was only fined $100,000. for talking about the CBA. So if you ever own an NFL team, remember it's better to speak out about the business of the game, than it is to extend your middle finger.
