Lackey has deal with Red Sox; Kentucky Speedway loses appeal

John Lackey
has signed with the Red Sox for a deal reportedly worth $82,500,000.00 over 5 years.

The Yankees and Red Sox continue to dominate the free agent market.

The U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals has found no violation of antitrust laws by NASCAR and International Speedway Corp.  Kentucky Speedway had claimed that they were prevented from getting a Sprint Cup race by the International Speedway Corp. and NASCAR working in conjunction with other tracks.
