Wickmayer's and Malisse's bans are suspended; Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario must pay taxes; Steve Spurrier and Jim Harbaugh get contract extensions
Yanina Wickmayer's and Xavier Malisse's (who Brad Gilbert refers to as "absence of malice") bans are suspended:
Although the issue of their failing to report their whereabouts three times to anti-doping officials remains unresolved, a Belgian court ruled to suspend their one-year ban from pro tennis. See link:

Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario has been ordered by the Spanish Supreme Court to pay $5.1 million in back income taxes. The former top ranked tennis player had claimed that she was not a resident of Spain during the period in question, but rather of Andorra. The court found that Sanchez-Vicario, “never effectively lived in Andorra and never had the intention of doing it in any moment, either.”

Two college football coaches who both happened to be outstanding college quaterbacks from different eras have just signed extensions with their respective universities.
