Michael Weiner
may prove popular with MLB players because he speaks plainly, not legalese.  The successor to Donald Fehr will bring some differences in style to the executive directorship of the Major Leage Baseball Players Association.

An agreement has been reached that allows Antoine Walker not to stand trial on felony charges.  He will repay over $900,000.00 in settlement of bad check charges to Las Vegas casinos.
