Zina Garrison, a former tennis star on the women's tour and until last year the United States Fed Cup coach, has settled the lawsuit she filed against the United States Tennis Association. Garrison alleged she was discriminated against because she was paid a lower salary than Davis Cup Cup coach Patrick McEnroe, and that she was held to a higher standard than McEnroe.

It's Gonna' Happen.
Last year (2008) the Chicago Cubs and their fans continually said "It's
Gonna' Happen". Unfortunately for the Cubs and their fans, it did not happen. This year, if any one said "It's Gonna' Happen ", they may have been referring to the date when the Cubs would suspend outfielder Milton Bradley. Well, it happened. This brings to mind the Cincinnati Bengals' "loyalty clause", also known as the "Carl Pickens Clause", by which the Bengals placed language in player contracts that restricted the players from making any dispargaing remarks about the team.
We expect the players association to support Bradley.
