Will Supreme Court Hear Baseball Drug List Case?
Baseball and The Supreme Court have a long history together.
It was in 1922 that Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes gave Baseball it's much criticized antitrust exemption. (The owners should have given him lifetime box seats to any game!) It was in 1972 that Justice Harry Blackmun's long-winded Majority opinion and ode to Baseball kept Curt Flood from gaining free agency. Now, in 2009, will the nine justices get a another shot at Baseball? There's a good chance that they will. Link:
