Secret contract at K-State having ripple effect
College football programs depend on boosters for an annual infusion of cash to help with such diverse endeavors as continually upgrading facilities such as a weight room, meeting rooms, or coaches offices; supplying training table foods; even for the marching band to go to an away game. One repercussion Kansas State may suffer from the now not so "secret deal" could be turned off boosters, drying up a major source of funding.
