Keller v. EA Sports and NCAA

We think this will be one of the most significant sports law cases of the year. The videogame business as it pertains to college football and basketball may feel shock waves from this lawsuit.

Secret Deal Shocks Kansas State



When Kansas State head football coach Ron Prince was fired in early November of 2008, most people expected a run of the mill buy-out provision in order to give Coach Prince the ziggy (Dick Vitale language for being fired). Not so fast my friend. It turns out there was a secret deal. Prince and his agent negotiated an additional buy-out provision with the now fired K-State athletic director. Now Kansas State is going to court to have that contract declared invalid.
